Stopped vehicle for speed, driver lied about name, gave brother's name, until his father-in-law showed up, then gave real name.  Wrote citations
for dwls 3rd and lying to police, noi for no insurance.

Traffic 2600 block 181^st. Fail to dim head lamps while I was conducting the last traffic stop. NOI for fail to dim, defective head lamps, no proof of liability ins

Traffic 2300 185^th Ave 34 in a 25. Driver had multiple warrants out of King and Pierce County. Arrested and took to PC Jail.

Traffic 18100 Driftwood Dr 30 in a 25-verbal

Two suspicious vehicles. Two kid cars came down 179^th together. Followed them all the way around to 185^th and Driftwood and when they stopped along side of each other in the middle of the road I stopped them. Said they were looking for a friend’s house, but forgot where he lived.

Juvenile party. House that I stopped the two suspicious vehicles going to earlier. Little party going on in the garage. Underage drinking. Broke it up and made everyone go home before it really got going. No parents at home. Talked to the parents around 0030 when I saw them pull in the driveway.

Traffic 17600 block Driftwood Dr 37 in a 25. Driver tried to change seats to let a friend behind the wheel. Was able to identify driver. Unlicensed juvenile who took mom’s boyfriend’s truck w/o permission. Had 5 friends in vehicle. One of them dropped a bunch of marijuana when I kicked them loose while I wasn’t looking. Mom came and picked up driver and boyfriend’s truck. Report to Remman Hall

Here are Driftwood Points calls for service for the month of December 2006.

911- Four calls
Alarms- Three calls. This does not include about 5 calls that were the night of the storm. The wind and loss of power are generally the reason for those.
Neighbor Dispute- One call
DUI-  I made one arrest during my patrols and there was a complaint of one other.
Medical Aid- Two calls
Mental Issue- One call
 
This was the extent of your calls for the month of December. I'm currently out doing some speed enforcement on the point. As of 1600 hours this evening I've issued two NOI's for excessive speed (35mph or over) I've given a couple warnings. On 1/3/07 I also worked a speed emphasis and issued three NOI's for excessive speed and gave several warnings. I've mainly been working the hill in the 17700  block and straight away in the 18100 block.
