185 Ave E reported that between approximately midnight Friday, Nov.11 and 2:00 am Sat., Nov 12 an ATV and 6 helmets were stolen from a locked 20' X 20' shed in their back yard. She claims the lock appeared to have been picked because it wasn't damaged. The fence was cut in two places and the ATV removed.

There was an attempted burglary on the Point on 09/15/11.  This occurred at 2621 185th Av E.  The alarm at the residence went off at 1245 hrs.  The homeowner arrived and found the back door had been damaged but no entry made.  Per the owner, this is a vacation home and not always lived in.  The backyard is fenced and it is unknown if the subjects entered from the water or the front of the property.  If anyone has any information regarding this incident please contact me.
~~~My daughter thought that I should tell you about someone breaking into my car here at our residence on Driftwood Point.
Wednesday, July 27 at 5am I went out to my company car and saw the passenger side window, which was facing 28th street east, smashed in.
There was a black backpack on the floor with a ZURICH tag on top because it was from our insurance company.  There was not anything of real value in it, just paperwork, flash drives, and a portable hard drive that retails for about $ 80.00.  It was filled with my work programs, which would not be of any value to anyone else.
I filled out a police report.  Just wanted to give you a heads up, in case that is happening a lot around here.  Not sure the Sheriff will do much.  (There is a reward for the backpack and hard drive, $ 250.00
)
~~~March 12th 2011I just wanted to pass on information to residents regarding recent vehicle thefts in the area.  Over the past week we have had three vehicles stolen and one recovered near Driftwood Pt.  One of the vehicles was stolen from the neighborhood behind Top Foods and the other two were stolen from Tacoma Pt.  It appears Ford Trucks and/or Vans are being targeted.  The recovered vehicle was a Ford Truck as well, stolen in Auburn.  I don’t have any suspect information but I wanted to pass this along to residents, especially residents that own Ford vehicles.

~~~There was a recent theft from a residence on 184th Ave E within the past week.  A couple of bundles of copper wire were stolen from the yard.  Another resident actually saw the suspect taking the wire however she was not able to get a description of the suspect due to the darkness.  This occurred around 0400 hrs in the morning on Monday, 02/07.  The associated vehicle is an older White 2 door hatchback.  She thought it resembled a GEO Metro.  Deputies did respond to the call and arrived within 5 minutes but the vehicle had already left and was not found.  The suspect parked several houses away from the target residence and likely new the wire was stored there.  Any information you may have about this event please forward to DPA on our contact us or to Deputy Eric Jank.
