Driftwood Point Board Meeting

Date: May 6th, 2004
Location:  DWP Park

 Meeting was called to order by Chuck Romeo at 7:07pm.
Attendants: See Below

Excused:

A motion was made to approve the meeting minutes by Ann Beurskens and seconded by Toni Jilek. All approved.

 A motion was also made to approve the Treasury Report by Ann Beurskens and seconded by Jean Julum.  All approved.

 Old Business:
(1)    
Wash. vs. Evans: Wages will be garnished when the guilty party gets out of jail. No ETA at this time. Dollar amount owed is $706.21
(2)     Income Taxes are still not complete. Lisa to call Cal Jorgenson to push the issue of completing our taxes and to get us current.
(3)     By-laws- Stan Baber and Joe Muscarnera will work more on by laws to have something to review in a week or so.
(4)     No news from Mr. Terhune on  providing information on fixing/repairing the park’s drain field.

Correspondence:
          The president told Lee’s Drywall that they would not be allowed to have a party at the park as he wants to have more than 50 people and does not want to reimburse the cost of the pot o pots that were rented for his party last year.

The escrow company is trying to satisfy a lien for a home on 183rd. Ave E

 New Business:
(1)                
Discussing new hours and dates the park will be open since the water will be up so much sooner and longer (April 15th- October 31st).
(2)                 Discussed more about a five (5) year plan.
(3)                 Don will post the park rules on the website (when they are finalized for 2004).
(4)                 Discussed auditing books. It is agreed that it needs to happen more often. The details of which will be further discussed.
(5)                 All members of the board will be up for vote this year.
(6)                 Ron McOsker will be following up with the county and Denny Westgard for the as built for the park drain field.

 

Motions Decided Upon:
There are no new motions at this time.

 The next general meeting will be June 7th, 2004, at 7:00pm at a location to be determined.

 A motion to adjourn was made by Bob Phelin and seconded by Toni Jilek and agreed upon by all.

 The meeting was adjourned at 8:03pm.
