Driftwood Point Annual Meeting Date: June 12th, 2004 Meeting was called to order by Chuck Romeo at 2:10pm. Attendants: See Attached (List of Proxy Voters to added as soon as received) Excused: We had an introduction of all the board members. We then thanked the Board members that retired or left including Chuck Romeo and Mike Drumright. Financial information was presented by Don Fisher complete with a hardcopy show past and present budget. Jean Julum wanted to express her gratitude towards the community volunteers from the past year. A hand raising vote was taken at the annual meeting and it was decided that we would not continue to purchase the DWP vehicle window sticker. Jean Julum and Ron McOsker presented the new park rules for 2004 Chuck Romeo presented some information about Lake Tapps and the efforts of the coalition. He also said that they have a new hotline phone number for any questions about Lake Tapps. That phone number is 253-891-5460. The incident report was brought up and the only new item was the pressure washer that was stolen. We are currently trying to get the log posted on the web for all to see and follow. We will be looking for persons to make signs soon. One that will be needed soon at the boat launch area with the lake staying up longer will be “ Check your boat for Milfoil” as milfoil is easily spread so it will be essential that we not take out or bring in milfoil to our lake. Correspondence: The next meeting will be July 12th, 2004, at 7:00pm at a location to be determined. A motion to adjourn was made by Ann Beurskens and seconded by Will Julum.
