Driftwood Point Board Meeting

Date: February 2nd, 2004
Location:  Lake Tapps Elementary School

Meeting was called to order by Chuck Romeo at 7:09pm.

Attendants: Don & Ann Fisher, Joe Muscarnera, Tim Wilson, Mark Newbauer, Mike Drumright, Devin Graham, Jean Julum, Chuck Romeo and Ann Beurskens.

Excused: Toni Jilek, Becky Ojala, and Gary Sjoroos.

A motion was made to approve the meeting minutes by Ann Beurskens and seconded by Mike Drumright. All approved.

A motion was also made to approve the Treasury Report by Ann Beurskens and seconded by Jean Julum.  All approved.

 Old Business:

(1)     Taxes: Becky is working with Cal Jorgensen about our taxes.

(2)     DWP vs. Terhune: Court date was November 17, 2003 @ 10:00am. No update.

(3)     No update on by-laws with Joe Muscarnera and Al Krininger.

(4)     Mike Steele has still not been able to have gate (posts and cable) repaired at ballpark.

(5)     Wash. vs. Evans: Court date will be Feb 5^th/No update at this time.

(6)     DWP vs. Terhune: Should see a verdict in the next two weeks or so.

Correspondence:

There is nothing new at this time

New Business:

(1)                 Don Fisher has volunteered “laketappsnews.com” as the DWP official website (there is a link to the DWP site from this site.)

(2)                 Ann Beurskens suggested too close the Edward Jones account for now.

(3)                 Where can we go to find a legal example of a proxy card? Does anyone have one or know where to go?

Motions Decided Upon:

There are no new motions at this time.

The next meeting will be March 1^st, 2004, at 7:00pm at a location to be determined.

A motion to adjourn was made by Jean Julum and seconded by Mike Drumright and agreed upon by all.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:11pm.
