There was no reading of the November 2008 minutes-Dave Thorsen absent
 
With held regular business to let the Boys Scout Troop 501 talk about collecting and recycling Christmas trees for the Troop's Annual Christmas Tree Fund Raiser. Proceeds from this will be used to help pay for summer camp with 10% going to a local charity. If you wish to help, please place your Christmas tree on the curb by 11:00 AM with a donation. (Checks to BSA Troop 501, or leave a note and we'll knock on your door, please no cash on the tree)

Motion was made by Ron Wilderman to let Troop 501 do this and 2nd by Justin Carlo motion passed
 
Treasures Report $2,279 spent during the month of Nov. the budget for November was $3,510 we are $2,000 below the years budget
 
President's Report Santa ride through Driftwood 12-16-08 Tuesday starts at 6pm Tim Wilson and Toni Jilek will be handling this again security-there have been no houses on Driftwood Point that have been broken into per Deputy Janks. We talked about increasing Deputy Jank's hours. Talk of this was tabled to see how much crime we get. We already talked about the Boys Scout Christmas Tree recycling.

Open Discussion - Scott Thorsteinson talked about 2009 Lake Tapps Calendars. He is selling them to raise money for the Big Climb for Leukemia. Also talked about joining our team to fight Leukemia and walk up 69 flights in March 2009.
-Liz Johnson can not be a trustee any longer she is resigning.
-3 board positions will be open in April 2009
-Scott & Kristy Thorsteinson are going to be judging the Christmas Lights around Driftwood Point, anyone want to come along let us know
-Pre-pay option for DP HOA dues since the economy is so bad. Payment options
-Talked about putting these things in the newsletter
